For our department Airline Revenue Management within LuxairGroup , we are looking for a (an) :

Deputy Revenue Manager (m / f)

Main duties :

  • Manage, Supervise and coordinate the flight analyst in the daily job analyses and route steering looking for revenue optimization
  • Analyze frequently the defined KPI's and providing the right interpretation of retail data by Monitoring the performance and making proposals for proactive decisions
  • Track booking records of daily, weekly, monthly, season perspective regarding the objectives and budget assigned on respective routes.
  • Define and validate the route strategy setup and validate the demand forecast in steering systems (Inventory, revenue management systems) to maximize overall revenues and contribution, taken into account an optimal usage of capacity, and a correct distribution over all channels
  • Monitoring the competition prices / evolution and analyzing impacts of the flights pick up in bookings curves
  • Identify revenue opportunities of aircraft capacity optimization and flight program definition to maximize usage of flight capacity for routes network regarding the trends and demand behavior
  • Providing any support / back up for all tasks of flight analysts in terms of steering and pricing
  • Conduct business cases at the request of AVP Revenue Management or Commercial Director
  • Be the backup of the AVP Revenue management for all matters related to Revenue Management and Pricing and represent the Revenue Management Structure
  • Required profile :

    Minimum required criteria :

  • Be holder of a Master degree in economics or mathematics in Business Administration / Engineering or equivalent
  • Have an experience in a similar function for 5 years
  • Capability to set up relevant Revenue Management strategies taken into account various factors of influence
  • Analytical skills and strong interest in figures and data
  • Results and performance oriented
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Good math skills with the ability to create and analyze reports, spreadsheets and performance statistics
  • Proficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Leadership and organizational abilities
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with financial and customer service principles
  • Have good knowledge about classical packages and dynamic packaging concept
  • Experienced in Tour Operator and Airline industry
  • Knowledge in Amadeus Altéa Inventory and / or experienced in steering with Revenue Management Systems
  • Show strong synthesis, analytical thinking and be confident in working with reports and simulations
  • Think and act entrepreneurial, be able to take calculated risk
  • Self-starting, independent and purposeful kind of working
  • Solid understanding of market demand and competition behaviors
  • Show excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Respect the strict confidentiality of the data

  • Be able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Be able to follow and apply procedures and methodologies used in the department

  • The ideal candidate :

  • Knowledge of Luxemburgish as well as skills in French and / or German or any other language is considered as asset
