If so, we are looking for an exceptional Senior Communications Manager to join a dynamic Amazon team that delivers critical, meaningful content and insights to millions of Amazon’s Selling Partners, helping them to stay ahead of the ever-changing e-commerce landscape, developing new ways to build trust and loyalty with sellers globally.
As the editorial owner of EU Selling Partner content, you'll lead the content strategy, editorial roadmap, and content creation efforts that enable us to deliver clear and relevant information to Amazon Selling Partners across the globe.
You will collaborate with internal business stakeholders (including business owners, policy makers, product and program managers) to develop scalable strategies to increase the breadth of information we share and decrease the time and effort required to publish high quality content.
Sellers’ trust in Amazon is our top priority and in this role, you will be tasked with building that trust over time by launching new processes and developing novel means to measure our progress over time.
Key responsibilities :
Understand and research EU Selling Partner risk and perception anticipating and identifying challenges and opportunities
Create and form EU communication strategy identifying key channels and audiences to maximize impact
Lead our EU content-related programs from conception to delivery identifying key partnerships and working in collaboration with stakeholders globally
Manage EU editorial roadmap plan, edit and write stories and content to be published
Keep informed up to date with local and global news on pertinent issues impacting our Selling Partners regulatory requirements, competition, policies, etc.
Strong track record as a communicator to identify engaging topics and write about them in a lively and dynamic way
Proven verbal and written communication skills; will need to provide a writing portfolio
Experience managing content strategy and projects across teams
An eye for timeliness and accuracy proven track record in anticipating the right news at the right and the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
Bachelor’s degree in a communications related field (or comparative career experience)
Degree in journalism, communications or similar field
Previous experience in reporting on tech companies / environments or comparable internal communications
Experience working as part of a global team with remote colleagues
Experience with content management systems and SEO
Experience working across social media platforms to deliver relevant and timely content
Project management experience and familiarity with content publishing technology
Experience working in an agile content development environment
Experience with a markup language such as HTML or XML
