Are you looking for

A business partner role in the different regions, responsible for cPVC global sourcing strategy and implementation plan, in line with the overall procurement global / regional strategy.

This would imply negotiating contracts in order to realise savings and improve cash, securing the right suppliers for the businesses in the regions, developing a profound knowledge of the category to ensure the best sourcing decisions and continuously improving category management processes and practices .

Are you someone who

  • Has very good business acumen to understand the strategic situations and sensitivities with vendors and internal stakeholders;
  • Maintains broader helicopter view to fully understand what is at stake ensuring all aspects at global and divisional level are taken into consideration;
  • Has strong interpersonal skills to be able to engage stakeholders and demonstrate the importance and benefits of global C-
  • PVC category management;
  • Demonstrates agility and diplomacy : fully understand the divisional needs able to challenge them in a collaborative way while considering their inputs and constraints;
  • Is open minded with strong focus on results;
  • Has an excellent knowledge of English;
  • Is mobile (50% travel).
  • And you have as well

  • A Master degree (eg engineering, purchasing ) or equivalent through experience;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial environment (preferably plastic sector);
  • Ideally, previous experience in C-PVC or PVC sector.
  • What you’ll be doing

    Lead the category at global level by :

  • Developing and implementing the global spend category / sourcing strategies to achieve business objectives for key stakeholders;
  • Carrying out market analysis of the category in the regions;
  • Identifying key supplier in the category;
  • Ensuring total cost reduction for the category;
  • Managing risks;
  • Getting a perfect knowledge of the supplier’s market of the category, thus bringing innovation & change management and new opportunities to the company;
  • Generating value generation through better ordering, spend visibility, contracts, market insights, supplier driven innovation, demand management, collaboration with value generating supplier, internal / external collaboration;
  • Being the company key contact with suppliers in the category;
  • Identifying the market levers and formulating an improvement strategy (risk, innovation and cost);
  • Negotiating with suppliers in the category (from co-operation to hard);
  • Negotiating elaborated / detailed contracts with suppliers with support from Legal dpt.;
  • Following up the supplier’s performance;
  • Working with Operation and other internal stakeholders in the regions to standardize and rationalize the category;
  • Ensure smooth relationships and effective collaboration & boundary management in the matrix organization with key stakeholders in the different regions (e.
  • g operational procurement as part of Supply Chain Organization, Operation managers, Finance, Management teams,) to secure supplies and anticipate short & long term needs;
  • Work with the Procurement Lead in the regions and in each market to develop the yearly and long term procurement plans to generate benefits and / or revenues for the Region Markets and ensure right supply on time;
  • Being an active member of the Group Procurement Council ensuring alignment between the Global Procurement priorities and the regional category business needs.
