For one of our clients, a EU Institution based in Kirchberg, we are looking for an : Operational Assistant - Communication (m / f) Accountabilities :

  • Taking organisational responsibility for the planning process for EIF press releases from the Media Division side, updating lists, distributing tasks and controlling if deadlines are met
  • Interacting with EIF operational staff, marketing staff and with EIB regional media officers to ensure seamless flow of information needed for press releases
  • Researching information and data needed for press releases and supporting the process of drafting and validating drafts with internal and external stakeholders
  • Attending twice a week planning meetings at the EIF together with a media officer and taking minutes
  • Providing input into Communication Department planning processes, attending planning meetings in Communication Department
  • Replacing Communication Department team assistants when necessary to support administrative work Qualifications :
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in media, corporate or institutional communications or similar roles
  • Knowledge / experience of communications work
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English and / or French
