To support our growth, we are currently seeking for a Technology Officer. JOB PURPOSE :

  • Plans, defines and drives the development of the Information System architecture as a whole to address the requirements of Business Units, in line with the company's strategy and security / risk management policies.
  • Participates in the choice of projects, in terms of assessment, design and implementation, and ensures their mutual compatibility, complying with the company's standards in a consistent, efficient and sustainable manner in the Information System architecture.
  • Promotes the innovation to all stakeholders (Management, Business Units, IT) with regard to the existing IS architecture.
  • STRATEGY :

  • Contributes to the development of the Information System strategic plan
  • Contributes to the selection of new solutions which address the company's needs, in line with the recommendations and solutions in place, and more generally with the IS strategy.
  • Communicating technological expertise to the partners involved and the rest of the company.
  • Discover and implement new technologies that produce a competitive advantage.
  • Develop and Monitor a KPI system that allows you to evaluate "technological performance".
  • IS DESIGN :

  • Build production processes that guarantee quality of execution and safety in the management of various business information.
  • Overseeing Information System infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.
  • Overseeing Information System infrastructure to ensure all teams are managing obsolescence.
  • Creates and maintains the Information System architectural standards and principles.
  • Using Business Unit strategies and requirements, analyses the impact of new solutions on the Information System, proposes changes for the various Business applications and proposes changes for the technological components of the Information System architecture, taking the different service models into account.
  • Supplies the required documentation and updates the corporate framework and service catalogue.
  • Produces recommendations for the secure integration of new Information System solutions within the enterprise and ensure its service guarantee (availability, integrity, continuity and proof).
  • Participates in selecting and evaluating projects.
  • CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT :

  • Promotes the guidelines related to the Information System architecture.
  • Helps to improve and / or implement processes.
  • Facilitates the transfer of knowledge, experience and best practice within the teams responsible for the Information System architecture.
  • Use stakeholder feedback to plan for technology improvements and adjustments.
  • KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT : Communicates and shares architectural principles, Information System standards and Information System innovation with communities of Information System experts. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE :

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology.
  • 10 years of experience in a similar position and environment.
  • Knowledge of technological trends to build a strategy.
  • Understanding budgets and business planning.
  • Ability to conduct technological analysis and research.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Leadership and organizational skills.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Any other additional languages are an asset.
  • Enthusiastic and positive can do attitude.
  • Resourceful and outgoing.
  • Highly innovative.
  • High attention to details.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a collaborative, cross functional teams.
  • Driven by a desire to improve.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with people of all levels of information technology expertise with a wide range of constituencies and organizational relationships.
