Trainee Yardi Analyst (m / f)

Reports to Senior Manager, Real Assets Fund Services, Luxembourg

The purpose of this position is to be part of Aztec’s most senior Yardi subject matter experts. Working with the wider business, IT and project teams, you will help lead the ongoing implementation and enhancement of the Yardi system across the Group.

Preferable for the role to be based in Luxembourg (or Jersey) but will also consider other being based in other jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities :

  • Support the internal users of Yardi, providing training guides and ensuring they are updated with any changes to the system
  • Support for the preparation of client’s meetings to showcase Yardi capabilities and demonstrate added value
  • Support with the development, testing and implementation of defect resolution and system enhancements in conjunction with the migration lead, technical lead and project manager
  • Collect static data from the different teams and clients (vendors, banking details), get them reviewed and confirmed, and upload them into the system
  • Support with the preparation of the process maps, training materials and update of the SharePoint page related to the application
  • Support with the preparation of presentations to the business working groups and senior management about the implementation of new modules
  • Support in the UAT of new modules (User Acceptance Testing)
  • Skills, knowledge, expertise :

  • University degree in Finance or Accounting (Bachelor or Master)
  • Desirable for the candidate to hold / prepare a relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, ICSA or relevant IT qualification)
  • First experience with accounting software, integrated software and / or ERP desirable
  • Strong internal and external communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to develop good working relationships within the business, the IT team, Yardi and with other service providers
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies desirable
  • Advanced PC skills notably MS Office suite (MS Word & MS Excel) as well as a familiarity with programming languages such as VBA & VB Script, SAS and Transact-SQL
  • Self-starter, who can work independently and has a positive and proactive approach
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new information, processes and procedures
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and identify and deal with problems

    You will need to be quick to learn new systems and great with people, as close working relationships between our colleagues and clients is at the heart of what we do.
