Reports to Senior ManagerThe purpose of this position is to be part of Aztec’s most senior Yardi subject matter experts. Working with the wider business, IT and project teams, you will help lead the ongoing implementation and enhancement of the Yardi system across the Group.
You will be involved in all aspects of the design, deployment and continuous development to ensure that we fully leverage all aspects of the system.
Preferable for the role to be based in Jersey but will also consider other being based in other jurisdictions.Key responsibilities :
Senior subject matter expert who will lead the ongoing implementation and enhancement of the Yardi system across the Group
Support the internal users of Yardi, providing training guides and ensuring they are updated with any changes to the system
Combines business knowledge with in-depth Yardi functional expertise to improve automation and efficiency of business processes.
Manage and maintain any development / improvements and work with the business for change requests or enhancements
Gathers and analyses information to assist in the development of recommendations to address business objectives that span multiple business and technology areas
Assist with the application development process, to include identifying requirements and project management and adherence to the Change Management framework
Be a senior member of the implementation team sharing best practice and SME knowledge
Support for the preparation of client’s meetings to showcase Yardi capabilities and demonstrate value add
Interpretation of accounting and administration requirements, design and implementation of solutions to requirements and configuration of the systems to meet the demands of our clients
Consideration of scalable solutions, and to maintaining a core configuration, with continual group improvements
Supporting with the development, testing and implementation of defect resolution and system enhancements in conjunction with the migration lead, technical lead and project manager
Travel to other Aztec offices will be required
Skills, knowledge, expertise :
University degree in Finance or IT (Master or Bachelor degree)
Desirable for the candidate to hold / prepare a relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, ICSA or relevant IT qualification)
Between 3 to 5 years' experience as an experienced Senior Officer
Extensive practical Yardi experience essential (or similar integrated system)
Experience of an implementation project desirable
Strong internal and external communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to develop good working relationships within the business, the IT team, Yardi and with other service providers
Proven experience of working within project management methodologies desirable
Advanced PC skills notably MS Office suite (MS Word & MS Excel) as well as a familiarity with programming languages such as VBA & VB Script, SAS and Transact-SQL
Experience of BI reporting, MI reporting and data analysis an advantage
Self-starter, who can work independently and has a positive and proactive approach
Proven ability to quickly learn new information, processes and procedures
Proven ability to meet deadlines and identify and deal with problems
