The Field Engineer participates in the installation and servicing of hardware systems anywhere in Luxembourg, performs proactive maintenance according to established procedures and adheres to proper escalation procedures.
He is also accountable for the timely and accurate submission of all associated documentation, part return administration event as well as assurance of complete customer satisfaction assigned inventory and test equipment.
The candidate must be willing to attend courses as required to enhance existing skills and gain new technical capabilities and to collaborate with remote support teams located in different locations worldwide.
Technical background, Bachelor or Master in IT-related studies (Electronics, Electricity, Electro-Mechanics, Computer Science, Information Technology)
Willing to travel daily to customers anywhere in Luxembourg, up to 80% travel activity
Willing to participate in a night and weekend duty role (standby)
Eager to learn, curious, team player, flexible, problem-solver
French and English professional language skills
Dutch or German language skills
First work experience in a customer facing technical role
