Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL) is one of the biggest banks in the Grand Duchy and offers retail, private, corporate and institutional banking as well as finance & product market services.

The Product Expert will directly report to the Head of Product Management. It is important to maintain tight links with internal clients (Retail Banking, WM, CIB) and related transversal teams (Discretionary portfolio management, Advisory, Operational marketing, ).
She / He has a broad overview of the product / service offering the Bank has and could potentially develop.
Product Development & Pricing is a team, within Product Management, in charge of all the engineering activity related to Products & Services.
The team is part of the Products & Markets department, it has the following duties :
to strengthen and sharpen the product offering of BIL in line with the strategy of the Bank and therefore to contribute to the differentiation of BIL
to drive the product development process in line with our product governance policy
to facilitate co-ordination between different distribution channels (Front-Office business lines), transversal support functions, back offices and external partners
to achieve high reactivity vs markets shifts
for short-term products
on long-term investment solutions
to establish framework to provide products to the front-offices
framework to include steering unit that will need to drive distribution at front level
What will you do :
Manage the product lifecycle and contribute to the overall development of Products & Markets at BIL.
Strengthen product offer to differentiate our value proposition vs competition >
Increased focus on product
reflection / engineering / right to win
Manage / Analyze / Challenge / Develop / Adapt the various pricing models (service / product offer) of the bank with regards to market conditions / client needs / competition analysis / regulation / profitability ambitions in close cooperation with Market intelligence)
Develop and market product offering for specific segments : UHNWI, RE, WE International and BIL Group International Entities ,( incl. niche product development )
Close cooperation with Product / Project Cooperation
Manage and improve transversally with various stakeholders (i.e. with Tax / Legal / WAP ) the legal / fiscal and MiFID II aspects of our product offer
Enhance and develop communication on a transversal level
Participate in international representation of the Products & Markets department
Must Have Requirements
You have :
Masters degree from a top university (Finance, Business Administration, Mathematical Sciences)
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build sustainable relationships.
Strong client- and results-orientation and proven negotiation skills.
Structured thinking and strong analytical skills / mindset
Genuine passion for providing clients with first-class financial services
Ability to work within a team but be pro-active and with strong self-motivation
Ability to embrace BIL’s way of working : collaborate, care and create
Excellent command of English, French is a must
You are :
Professional with good product knowledge in the wealth management, corporate / institutional banking and retail banking sphere
Good communicator, at ease with handling different groups of stakeholders
