Regulation, Compliance and Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) protects the integrity and reputation of Deutsche Bank. It manages the Bank’s risks and help to avert unintentional rule breaches and conflicts of interest.
At the same time, we also advise the bank on ethical conduct and governance issues and keep the bank up to date on regulatory and political challenges.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist the Team Lead with defining the annual Compliance Testing plan for Luxembourg in line with the CT methodology.
Conduct testing for the business division / area of responsibility.
Produce management information on the progress of reviews and the work done as required.
Document and communicate testing results using high quality reports.
Agree issues and remediation actions with the business and track them to completion. Review and validate actions / issues closure.
Update the relevant tracking system with information on the reviews and their progress.
Support continuous enhancement of the testing programme by identifying improvements and implementing them, while ensuring the programme remains aligned to the global CT framework.
Maintain effective communication channels with relevant stakeholders in the business. Liaise with the wider Compliance organisation and other control functions (e.
g. Risk & Governance, Legal, Internal Audit) to ensure a coordinated approach and effective resolution of issues.
Applicants should have the following background :
Good experience of working in a Compliance or Risk and Control function, preferably in a testing or auditing role.
Excellent knowledge of banking / financial markets business environment and products.
Good knowledge of Luxembourgish and EU financial markets rules and regulations.
Excellent writing skills. An ability to produce high quality reports and management information.
Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to describe complex issues clearly and succinctly in ways that are easily understandable by others.
An ability to : effectively communicate and align multiple stakeholders towards a common goal. think critically and identify areas for process improvement.

A positive, collaborative and flexible approach required to operate in a constantly changing environment.
Structured and organised in approach, demonstrating a high level of diligence and attention to detail ability to ensure high quality and consistency in the deliverables produced.
Results orientated and able to work in a fast paced environment within tight deadlines while simultaneously managing multiple reviews.
Proactive will seek to find the right solution and options to issues within and outside their specific remit, without being prompted and within an appropriate matrix management framework.
Assertive and engaging and able to quickly build and maintain effective working relationships.
Fluent in English and German, French is a plus.
