Role purpose

Accountable for Network Planning, monitoring the overall plant capacity utilisation and projected capacity needs to meet unconstrained sales forecast.

Escalate issues and proposed cross-border solutions to the Group S&OP.

Develop and maintain the processes and associated supporting tools and analytics to enable network planning effectively to meet all customer requirements for the product life cycle.

To ensure that robust supply chains are defined and implemented to manage any change in market requirements and / or new product or business introductions.

Owner of the standard process for project management in PLW / Supply Chain. Including product transfer projects ( change in manufacturing location)

Overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project

Key responsibilities and outputs

Lead the crossborder network planning process, reviewing bottlenecks and supply issues that require Group level solutions / coordination.

Building proposals and escalating them for decision to Group S&OP.

Lead, coach, and mentor improvement across the function, providing leadership in the selection, scoping, structuring and delivery of projects

Direct and integrate the activities of multiple, major projects; ensures that project efforts are generally cohesive, consistent, and effective in supporting the business mission, goals, and strategic plan

Provide expertise in network planning and optimization with deep understand of supply chain planning, transportation, warehousing and analytics

Provide Strategic Sourcing support for major projects, such as the opening and closing of manufacturing Plants, production location change and investments across the Plant network.

  • Participate in and oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of individual project objectives and short- and long-range plans;
  • develops tracking and evaluation programs to assist in the accomplishment of established project goals and objectives

    Full project life cycle ownership : successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously

    Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project

    Secure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes

    Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership

    Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs

    Knowledge & Skills required

    Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

    Several years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects

    Several years of experience Supply Chain Management, particularly in Supply Network Management

    Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs

    Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective
