Amazon is looking for an experienced, talented and enthusiastic leader to manage category expansion for Amazon’s Home & Lifestyle Private Brands business in Europe.
This leader will have responsibility for scaling the business with scope in areas of sourcing and vendor management, marketing & brand management, and inventory management.
This leader will build and execute on increasing competitive advantage through product and merchandising innovation, strategic leadership and implementation.
The leader will establish goals, strategy and implementation plans resulting in desired business results throughout the product lifecycle, from concept through customer experience.
This person will establish and manage a high performing team whose primary goal is to build and grow the private label business online, creating the earth's greatest shopping experience a store featuring more products, better & more compelling than any store.

The position requires a leader who can work autonomously in a fast paced, highly demanding and ambiguous environment. The successful candidate would possess great business judgment, with a track record of strong project delivery, commercial negotiations and relationship management along with deep analytical acumen.
Additionally, this position involves working with multiple stakeholders (sourcing, quality and compliance, marketing, legal, supply chain, among others), and hence we need strong stakeholder management capabilities and ownership with great bias for action in getting things done themselves.
Your Responsibilities :
Establish and implement the Private brands growth strategy in the EU for the Home & Lifestyle business.
Build and lead the organization in planning and executing of private brands product roadmap.
Develop, execute and monitor comprehensive launch plans for private brand products.
Create a selection strategy to enter additional product verticals across the EU business; monitor trends to identify market demands for new product innovations.
Responsible for private brand sales and the end to end operations of private brand new product launches.
Analyze product lines for Home & Lifestyle categories to ensure they are meeting or exceeding growth and profitability objectives.
Establish and maintain sourcing relationships, including but not limited to supplier selection, negotiating contract terms and evaluating vendor performance.
Manage and scale a top notch team in the EU with strong ownership deep functional knowledge of area and financials.
Manage Home & Lifestyle P&L in the EU, driving continuous margin improvement through cost concessions and operational improvements.
Anticipate customer expectations, changing customer perceptions and share insight with the wider leadership team.
Collaborate with the instock team to create ideal European inventory placement and ordering strategy.
Budget responsibility for annual volume and margin targets.
Create sustainable process improvements which drives year-over-year progress in the business.
Focus on talent management of the team which includes effectively recruiting and developing the best, and creating an environment which motivates people to thrive in their expertise and deliver aggressive results.
Work cross functionally with central company-wide teams in Technology and Operations to establish the right processes and optimize them to utilize resources most efficiently.
10+ years of relevant experience in leadership roles, general management and / or finance
Experience directly managing people and their performance
Proficient in Excel
Must have proven ability to manage large and complicated projects with experience leading cross-functional projects
Experience creating and setting annual operating plan and presenting to Senior Management.
