The EU Customer Fulfillment organization is seeking a Senior Program Manager to work in the EU Transportation organization to drive projects to help improve the customer service level.

The role will also work on identifying complex trade-off opportunities in the network and drive projects to capture these benefits.

The Sr. Program Manager is responsible for programs, which will result in EU wide improvements in Trans and Supply Chain network for carriers’ performance and warehouse yard operations performance through weekly and daily metrics.

An ideal candidate has a background in transportation operations, has excellent program management, data analysis & people management skills.

Deep problem-solving skills from a top tier management-consulting firm would be an additional strength for the candidate.

He / she has the ability to lead and mentor people; analyze data and make sound recommendations in an often ambiguous environment.

One of the main responsibilities in this role is to standardize and improve processes; while analyzing and eliminating root cause of defects within the current systems using weekly and daily metrics.

This job will require exceptional data analytics skills and the ability to find trends and root causes using data and define new processes and provide process improvement ideas.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence change at a local (facility) and global level.

Four key areas that you’ll always focus on are the safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of your department.

  • Partner with Fulfillment Leadership on quality and Customer Experience metrics, including the root cause analysis of problem areas
  • Engage with carriers to jointly improve carrier performance
  • Engage with Trans and Supply chain stakeholder to drive the results
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and trade-off optimizations in the network
  • Manage junior analysts to get the job done along with hire and develop the best
  • Responsibilities :

  • Partner with FC (distribution center) leadership to improve On-time arrival, on-time departure, Safety and Customer Experience metrics
  • Accountable to report carrier performance, identify root causes for structural issues and drive resolution with multiple stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs; while measuring and identifying activities performed.
  • Ability to develop standard work and share best practices with our Global Transportation Operations teams
  • A completed Master Degree in operations or related field from an accredited university and solid experience in Operations
  • Experience with performance metrics within a transportation network
  • Proven Experience in data analysis and usage of statistical tools
  • Solid track record in handling process improvements projects
  • Strong inter-personal and relationship-building skills.
  • Candidates must be flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends and holidays
