Mission :

Reporting to the EVP Audit & Compliance of XXX, your mission will be to support our focus on strong internal controls and compliance with the Group’s standards.

You will do so by carrying out internal audits within XXX's various media businesses, and by consulting our operations in setting up sound internal controls and related processes.

The position is based in XXX headquarters in Luxembourg and requires frequent travel to our subsidiaries in Europe and worldwide.

Your role also includes the following :

Responsibilities :

  • Review, through specific audit assignments, that adequate controls are implemented in order to effectively and efficiently manage the inherent system and business risks;
  • Ensure that Group policies and procedures are respected, report on their compliance and state of implementation, recommend improvement measures and follow-up on the latter;
  • Support business in their integration in the Group’s working procedures (reporting, policies & procedures, etc.);
  • Analyse business processes, risks and organisational structures;
  • Make suggestions for optimization and alignment with Group practices and standards;
  • Carry out specific reviews of internal controls; help to ensure the quality of the regular internal controls self-assessment;
  • Involvement in due diligence processes.
  • Profile :

  • Relevant university degree (business administration, finance, IT );
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience (such as Controlling, Finance, Internal Audit, Risk and Controls, Group Reporting, ) with a proven experience in analysis of complex data sets and IT concepts in general (ERP, CRM ), knowledge of SAP will be considered as an asset;
  • Strong analytical skills, must be able to quickly grasp complex businesses / technical processes;
  • Good command of concepts of financial accounting and reporting;
  • Experience in assessing organizational set-ups and internal control systems;
  • Good understanding of basic IT controls and security governance;
  • Understands the complexity and requirements of large international Groups;
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken); German or French will be considered an asset;
  • Business driven, open minded and pragmatic;
  • Very good communicator; an outgoing personality who can quickly build positive relationships;
  • Strong team player and able to manage relationships with business partners autonomously;
  • Excellent drafting skills;
  • Flexible and ready to regular business travel.
