The opportunity
Currently we are looking for New Product Industralization (NPI) Engineer . You will :
Schedule, execute and supervise development builds and trials, track and update work progress in SAP PS, sign-off release package
Prepare and maintain all building documentation, including document project data log, plant release package, and specification for regular production;
establish specifications and calibration standards for equipment and provide technical expertise as needed.
Enter the Hebron machine set-up file into the EMEA Chrome machine : trials of new recipe on ply maker, breaker maker and beadmaker as well as gearpump trials of new recipie, with necessary adjustments
Measure and analyze check tire parameters, including yield, waste, CTA & FP and implement improvements
To join our team you will need :
Education
4-year bachelors degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical or manufacturing technology (or equivalent).
Languages
The candidate must be fluent in English.
Knowledge of German and / or French is an asset.
Experience
Overall, +7 years of experience in manufacturing
3-5 years of experience in tire engineering or manufacturing
Prior experience in New product introduction desired (must)
Knowledge of tire design and / or plant experience
Experience in the tire manufacturing process
Exposure to tire uniformity are assets, as well as having a basic knowledge in compounding.
Technical background in tire manufacturing (Stock preparation, Tire building. Tire curing and Tire Inspection).

Good Project Management skills
Lean, Quality and On Time Delivery approach.
Good Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, SAP, Extensible 3D).
Knowledge about release tests, tire construction, basic rubber material and composite knowledge, SAP spec tool, component extrusion
Conceptual work in production environment
