The Worldwide Operations Talent Acquisition (Ops TA) team is seeking a passionate, results-oriented, and inventive Program Manager to support the recruiting systems strategy for internal transfers.
You will be expected to dive deep into multiple Internal Recruiting Systems (IRS) to evaluate and assess features against local, regional and global business requirements and processes, and make recommendations on what should be included in strategic technology roadmaps.
Customers and stakeholders will be in multiple locations around the world, and may include Ops TA internal transfer recruiting teams (iTeams), hiring managers, business leaders, and development teams.
To succeed, you will need to have both technical and functional acumen as well as a passion for ownership and communication.
This is a high-impact role that will influence the direction of Amazon’s global recruitment systems, which are critical in the placement of talent to support Amazon’s worldwide Operations.
Some travel may be required, and some flexibility in daily schedules to accommodate global meetings / calls.
Preferred locations for this role are : London (UK), Luxembourg (LU), Arlington (VA), Seattle (WA), or Nashville (TN)
Key responsibilities include :
Deep understanding of multiple IRS used in the iTeam process and how they work together.
Building strong relationships across WWOps TA teams and functions to facilitate gathering of user stories and functional requirements.
Understanding the voice of the product’s iTeam Customers, to uncover pain points and technology gaps, and identify possible solutions.
Using qualitative and quantitative methods to undertake functional gap analysis between products used by iTeam and their business needs in multiple geographic locations.
Use this analysis to inform strategic roadmaps and development prioritization.
Deep dive into country-specific requirements to identify unique needs (such as legal, regulatory, compliance).
Reviewing business requirements, workflow diagrams, UX designs.
Liaising with product managers and technical development teams to scope and size potential change requests.
Track and report progress of features with tech teams and stakeholders (intake, evaluation, approval, development, deployment, adoption).
Support the formation of a tech roadmap and strategy through detailed business requirement and feature analysis.
Regular communication to leadership teams and stakeholder groups on progress against goals.
Communicating effectively to iTeams and business stakeholders to monitor and drive adoption of IRS, collect feedback, and track enhancement requests.
Conducting time studies to baseline current state and project business outcomes of future state solutions.
Support the standardization of IRS use across Ops TA iTeams, with a focus on simplification of process, elimination of touch points, and monitoring regulatory compliance.
Analyzing data / metrics and identifying and managing risks / defects.
Responding to an agile and constantly evolving global environment.

Passion for technology, willingness to dive deep into the IRS Amazon is using, and commitment to learning and expanding functional knowledge
Expertise with HR / Recruiting systems, ideally those used at Amazon
Direct experience working as a recruiter, ideally in the internal transfers space
Certification in project or program management (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2, SAFe etc.)
Demonstrated skills in interpreting and creating user experience (UX) journey mapping.
Quantitative background with high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
MBA or other post-graduate degree
