The team works in close collaboration with other teams located in London, Frankfurt, Berlin and Hong Kong to implement product launches, changes and liquidations and develop products that meet client needs and regulatory compliance.
The team covers a wide range of product management related tasks from the Management Company's perspective and governance. Responsibilities
Work on the various aspects of product-related events such as launches, changes such as changes in reference indices or indirect to direct replication, liquidations, etc. It includes :
reviewing and commenting fund documentation, investor communication and service providers' contractual documentation together with legal / legal counsel;
contact point and follow up on non-standard topics related to products ( tax reclaims, large redemption process, liquidation follow-up etc.);
answering queries on products from internal and external stakeholders (regulators, internal departments, client complaints, auditors);
reviewing the financial report and documents related to the audit;
preparing various reportings for Fund Boards and Management Board meetings;
supporting our department in the day-to-day business and collaborating with other teams such as Product Specialist team, Legal team, Investment Risk team, Compliance team, Portfolio Management team, etc.;
follow regulatory changes affecting products and contribute to the implementation of these changes;
contribute into the analysis and / or input of internal projects.
University degree, preferably in Law, Finance or Economics
Keen interest in investment products in general
5 years' experience in the investment fund industry
Highly motivated, self-sufficient, with a can-do attitude and a strong willingness to learn, take on new challenges and serve our clients
Diligent, efficient and able to manage multiple conflicting deliverables including working under pressure while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
Proficient skills in MS Office (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Strong English language skills required plus additional relevant languages (eg. German) as a plus
