Greenfield is pleased to be working exclusively with a Private Equity firm. To support their local team, they are looking for an experienced Conducting Officer in charge of Valuation and Finance to participate to the development of its Luxembourg operations to oversee all valuation and finance relatedwork for the firm in Europe.

She / he will be supported by an accountant. In this role, the conducting officer is in charge of establishing and maintaining the valuation and financial controlling operational and reporting framework of the AIFM, while ensuring an effective communication with the other conducting officers and the board of directors on a regular basis. The Role :

Act as the investment valuation conducting officer of the AIFM

Performance of quarterly valuations for private equity investments

Support the management of our daily, monthly, quarterly and annual investment valuation process and controlling of valuations

Identify potential weaknesses / areas for improvement in the function setup and contribute to the development and improvement of existing monitoring, valuation and reporting tools and processes

Management of and support to special projects

Participation to the committees and board of managers as well as with external parties (auditors, service providers, regulators etc.

on accounting, monitoring and valuation related topics

Ensure the independence between the risk management and valuation activities

Supervision of investment and divestment transactions

Review of specific accounting and control issues : Capital accounts, Management fees, Preferred return / Carried interest, Income

Coordination of the Financial statements and disclosures

Supervision and oversight of accounting, administration and other services undertaken by third party

Reporting to the Conducting officers’ committee, to the board of managers and to the regulator on the activities mentioned above

Coordinating with the internal and approved statutory auditor, review of internal audit points and follow up on recommendations

Reviewing and updating on a regular basis the policies of the AIFM in its area of competence and monitor the processes of the relevant delegate(s)

Active participation to any project; especially in terms of activities mentioned above

Your Profile :

University degree in finance or economics or relevant business experience

Strong knowledge of the Fund Services business and processes

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience, preferably within a Management Company.

Direct experience dealing with the CSSF, Fund Admins, transfer agents,

Previous approval as a Conducting Officer will be an advantage
