Legal Fund Manager Initial Luxembourg Office Set-Up Fund Manager Luxembourg Set-Up Have you been looking for a new project where you can hold extra responsibility and be part of a new Luxembourg branch set up for an Asset Manager?

A British firm, handling Pan-European private equity and real estate investments and transactions are looking for their first employee in Luxembourg and initiate a set-up and presence.

You will work closely with their current service provider so you have a structure around you but will really lead the way for the business and their Luxembourg platform.

Working on investments throughout Europe you’ll lead the way for the fund management, legal and fund administration duties, and establish this new office The company have been running for the last few years and have been doing amazingly successful deals and investments, with fundraising from all over the globe.

  • Main Duties and Responsibilities : · Responsible for fund management and transactions; including drafting documents, preparation of minutes and managing fund flows · Deal with typical fund administration duties for entities;
  • Working closely with the current service provider · Responsibility at boards, hold a seat, hold directorship mandates, get very involved with shareholders and investors · Travel at times for boards in Europe · Liaising with lawyers, tax experts and third parties · Work with the UK team closely, mainly deal team for joint ventures.

    Your profile · 6+ years in the Luxembourg corporate governance and fund administration space · Relevant degree in Law / Business Administration or equivalent · Other experience from abroad if also appreciated within AIF space · Up to date on Luxembourg regulation and Corporate knowledge in the funds' industry · Exposure to 360 transactions ideally from a service provider background · Fluent English is compulsory other languages are a plus Benefits · Set up a new office and create the Luxembourg presence · Work with all investments for the company using local platforms (typically, from Denmark, Germany, UK, Irish and Spain) · Report to the Company CFO · Work with an established UK HQ · Gain assistance with the setup from the local service provider help with transition etc · Lead the way to add additional headcount over the next few years.
