In a global yet increasingly regulated economy, companies are carrying out a growing number of complex and cross-border transactions.
The tax implications of these activities, their effects on transfer pricing, and the prevalence of tax disputes can easily overwhelm in-
house tax departments, placing a valuable premium on external counsel with the strength, depth, and international reach to provide innovative, timely tax solutions.
Our lawyers combine their legal skills with market and sector-specific knowledge in order to provide innovative tax-efficient solutions to clients across all industry sectors.
We provide assistance to our clients regarding tax planning & international corporate taxation, tax restructuring, transfer pricing, tax compliance, tax due diligence, personal taxation, IP taxation, indirect taxation, funds taxation, FATCA / CRS and tax litigation.
In addition, to provide our clients with the most comprehensive advice possible, our tax group works closely with lawyers from other practice areas in our office and other offices around the world as today's business world is teeming with pressures : the need for innovation and growth to stay competitive, increased cross border activity, heightened regulation, not to mention the challenging tax environment (complex tax rules, more tax transparency, authorities acting on mandates to protect the tax base and, a backdrop of media attention).
