Your Role
The University of Luxembourg invites applications for the following vacancies in the Laboratory for photovoltaics in the frame of a research project, funded by the Fonds National de la Recherche.
The Laboratory for Photovoltaics and the Scanning Probe Microscopy group investigate thin film solar cells, which have a shorter energy pay back time than conventional solar cells.
The successful candidates will prepare thin film solar cells, based on chalcopyrite (Cu(InGa)Se2) and perovskites. One candidate will concentrate on opto-electronic analysis, the other one on scanning probe microscopy to understand and mitigate limitations of current solar cells.
The doctoral candidates will be members of the Department of Physics and Materials Science within the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine at the University of Luxembourg.
They will perform research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Siebentritt and Prof. Dr. Redinger.
