EU Prime Sr. Product Manager L6 MOJO team - This position could be based in Lux, Madrid, Munich or London

MOJO team owns Prime EU Product and Tech, delivering high impact global and EU products, leading global centers of competence such as , Membership Optimization Journey, Multifactor Authentication, Payments, benefits like Live Events, Devices, Wallet, marketing, etc.

Prime EU is seeking an experienced, analytical, data driven Product Manager who will be leading E2E exciting, high impact global initiatives with the EU Product and Tech hub, aiming to deliver new benefits and CXs to our customers, optimizing their journeys and launching new innovations, involving complex projects linking Prime member acquisition, retention, benefits, payments and expansion.

The PM will be the owner of the product roadmap from ideation to design, development and deployment, working closely with Tech, BI, DS, business and operations.

This role has significant senior and international exposure within Prime, International Retail, Consumer Payments, Prime Video and Biz Dev teams.

As an EU-based PM within the MOJO team, the successful candidate will lead innovative projects that drive the new customer journey, CX improvements and business impact that are critical for the growth of the Prime program globally.

Prime is a fast-growing membership program providing customers with free premium delivery on tens of millions of items plus digital benefits like Prime Video, Prime Music, Twitch Prime, etc.

Since its introduction in the US in 2005, Prime has become an important engine of global growth for Amazon. Prime members buy more items, shop more often, and spend more than the average Amazon customer.

Since US launch, Prime has expanded to UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Canada, India, Australia, UAE, Benelux, Sweden, Poland, Brazil, Singapore, etc.

As the program continues to grow, it has become an increasingly meaningful source of competitive advantage and is a critical building block of Amazon’s proposition.

This role serves as the lead for the development of new products and capabilities to meet Prime’s future needs. The PM will own the definition and implementation of key actions linked to different Centers of Excellence managed by the Products and Tech team, including PSD2 readiness, MFA, new payment products and benefits, wallet, devices, new marketing capabilities, etc.

The role requires full ownership of this process from ideation / prioritization of initiatives, PRFAQ and business requirements development, through deployment and go to market strategy.

It requires working internationally and cross-functionally, collaborating with diverse teams both within Prime and beyond, including direct work with our global tech teams and finance teams.

We are looking for a Product Manager who shares Amazon's passion for the customer and who excels at developing new ideas and innovating on behalf of our customers.

The successful candidate must have experience managing complex products and projects and must have the ability to influence and successfully drive initiatives forward, rallying resources and aligning a large number of different stakeholders cutting across geographies and functions.

The PM balance creativity and flexibility in product development and stakeholder management with a need to be detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, able to take direction, deliver, be thick-skinned and professional, capable of dealing with ambiguity and rapidly-changing environment, and comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Besides having first-class written and verbal communication skills, this product manager will be able to prioritize to meet deadlines, manage expectations and dependencies, and making data driven recommendations and show results with data.

In addition, candidates must be successful both as individual contributors and in a team environment, and needs the ability to understand how metrics relate to business problems and to communicate priorities effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • EU owner of products in MOJO and tech hub roadmap : define & improve the overall Prime CX and product and marketing capabilities, innovating on behalf of our customers
  • Leading the analysis of impacts & mitigation actions per country together with Prime EU Finance, Prime country leaders and the MFA core team, identifying gaps and recommending solutions / actions.
  • Act as the key EU-based owner of initiatives, coordinating between EU Prime teams and Prime & Retail Leadership, US-based Prime teams, global Finance, BI and additional project related stakeholders.
  • Develop Roadmap for the EU based Product & Tech hub, including : 1) Identify and scope different initiatives, CX improvements and experiments;
  • 2) Modeling each initiative and use case, 3) Prioritize key actions; 4) Develop PRFAQs and BRDs; 5) Set goals and metrics;
  • 6) Develop and coordinate implementation and deployment plans across multiple countries; and 7) Gather key data and contribute to ongoing improvements process.

  • Define success metrics and monitor them. Creating inputs for Finance and related teams and reports (OP, 3YF, MBRs, QBRs, etc.).
  • Develop ad-hoc business analysis and recommendations
  • Product & Project Management for related initiatives and innovations, liaising closely with Technical Project Managers and global development and QA teams
  • Work closely with Prime Marketing to develop marketing strategies and communication plans
  • Push Prime and Prime-related initiatives with internal stakeholders such as Transportation, Prime Video, and Prime Music
  • Ideally, understanding of one of the EU hub domains (wallet, devices, payments, recovery, live events / digital pipelines, etc.)

    Key team with a high-performance track record, creating and growing the Prime product and tech hub based in EU, working for global initiatives and with ambitious growth plans.

    Multidisciplinary (PMs, SDEs, TPMs, QAEs, BIEs, DSs, BAs) working together on challenging initiatives. Team is located in different EU countries, and this position could be based in Luxembourg, Madrid, London or Munich.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management or related field
  • 7+ years product management, business analyst or related experience shaping products in a complex industry (digital, tech, banking, payments, media, ecommerce)
  • Proven track record in product management, including ability to develop new product ideas, define business requirements in detail, and work closely with technical teams
  • Experience in managing complex projects and diverse, international teams, deploying E2E products (B2C and B2B)
  • Proven analytical and marketing capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong delivery, attention to detail and bias for action, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, the grit to take initiatives from start to end
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA preferred
  • Mastering of multiple European language
  • Strong Excel skills for analyzing large data sets or relevant quantitative modeling
