The University of Luxembourg invites applications for the following vacancy in its Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences :
Project collaborator in Psychology or similar disciplines (Research & Development specialist) - 20 h / week
The Project Collaborator will be a member of the Institute for Lifespan Development, Family, & Culture in the Department of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Luxembourg.
He / she will work under supervision of Dr. Isabelle Albert.
The project collaborator will contribute to the project Le Vieillissement Actif au Luxembourg : Besoins des résidents luxembourgeois et non-luxembourgeois et leur participation et non-participation aux activités offertes par les différents services (VAL) .
This project is financed by the Ministère de la Famille, de l'Intégration et à la Grande Région within the framework of the Plan d’Action National d’Intégration (PAN) and is carried out in close cooperation with the RBS Center fir Altersfroen.
The project VAL aims, above all, to explore the needs (in the context of active ageing) of senior citizens (people aged 50 and over) in Luxembourg in view of a heterogeneous and diverse population, in order to facilitate their inclusion and promote social cohesion.
The project has two parts : a large quantitative national survey as well as qualitative in-depth interviews with participants from four selected municipalities.
