Candidates should be new or recent PhDs with high potential in research. Salary is very competitive, and additional funding is available for travel and invitations.
The candidate will be expected to work on topics related to geometric structures on low-dimensional manifolds. Specific areas of relevant research include Teichmüller theory, metric and combinatorial considerations on moduli type spaces, the geometry of the mapping class group and systolic type estimates.
