Within our Luxembourgish organization of 260 employees, we are looking for an :
Accountant (m / f)
Role & Responsibilities
As a member of our accounting team in Luxembourg, you will secure the financial accounting (general and AP / AR entries) and reporting by processing daily business and monthly / annual closings of dedicated entities.
You will in particular support our operational entity (>
EUR 500mio).
Key responsibilities will include :
Secure the financial accounting (General and AP / AR entries);
Perform and control the monthly reconciliation of accounting entries (including the payroll, PPE, inventories, interco and tax activities);
Liaise with other departments and other group entities to solve general accounting issues when raised;
Handle monthly and annual closing tasks within the time allowed;
Participate to the issuance of Group, regulatory and tax reportings;
Support the implementation of controls and carry out the necessary checks to ensure the high quality of all deliverables;
Skills
Master degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent;
Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in financial accounting and reporting;
Working experience in SAP and MS office (proficiency with MS Excel) are required;
Ability to work under pressure with very tight deadlines and to work both independently and in a team environment in an international & multi-cultural environment;
Attention to details with high analytical and conceptual skills; Always looking to improve current processes;
Fluent in English is mandatory, French would be considered as an asset.
