We have an immediateopening for a : Quality Engineer - (M / F / D) The QualityEngineer (QE) works with and develops relationships with customersand the manufacturing facility to understand and ensure productquality meets customer requirements / expectations.
Typically,responsible for one or more customers QE will lead the customerprocesses, including part launch, ongoing reporting and problemresolution.
QE may fill in for the Quality Manager’s absences andwill need to understand the government standards and requirementsfor product compliance.
QE is a strong partner for ProgramManagement during Development / APQP process. Profile : · Bachelor degreein Engineering or Quality Management· At least 3 years’experience as a quality engineer in an industrial environment,ideally within the glass industry· Fluent in Frenchand English, German is an asset· Strongunderstanding of best practice quality tools· Strong problemsolver · Perfectanalytical skills and target oriented approach· Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills· Stress resistant· PDCA, 8D, 5 Why,Ishikawa, fault tree analysis, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, generalquality methods · Six Sigma belt preferred· Willingness totravel Roles / Responsibilities : · Interfacemanagement between production and customer quality· Implementation ofnew product or product changes through advanced engineeringanalysis and problem solving· Monitor currentprocedures to ensure the production of quality product inaccordance with customer quality requirements / expectations· Work with toolsfor analysis / continuous improvement· During thedevelopment phase ensure that the defined quality characteristicsare respected and controlled· Manage thecustomer claims and ensure that all defined actions are implementedand are efficient and effective· Follow up onnon-conformities generated in an audit and ensure that actions aretaken and implemented· Ensure that allrelevant stakeholders are informed about customer claims as soon aspossible while making sure that all needed information are present· Ensure workingresident environment at customer· Ensure sufficientcollaboration with all relevant departments to improve the qualityof our products The selected candidates willbe offered : · A challenging opportunity to progresswithin a growing company · A pleasant working climate,favoring autonomy and personal initiative · Increasingamounts of responsibility, in relation to experience and capability· An attractive salary package, commensurate to achievements Interested?
