For our HQs in Luxembourg we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for the Travel Market and the Food Service Division.
The position reports professionally to the Supply Chain Manager and managerially to the Travel Market Manager, while the aim of the position is to
ensure products delivery in stores / points of delivery in compliance with timing and Group quality standards
develop and implement logistics services, manage claims and exceptions, maintain and improve relationships with customers, monitor and control specific KPIs and reports on transit time, freshness,
Collection and aggregation of orders received from Travel Market Sales Department and customers to create transport batches;
Manages sales orders dispatching to warehouses, in order to assure the availability of proper product quantity in the right timings;
Verifies that orders, productions and stocks match with plans, performing relevant corrective actions;
Collaborates with Travel Market functions (e.g. Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales, Quality) in updating sales plans, in order to guarantee that orders are correctly consolidated and fulfilled;
Guarantees the right orders management during sales peaks, in order to mitigate the risk of stock out.
WAREHOUSE / FREIGHT MANAGEMENT
Ensure the distribution of the products to the customer warehouses on the basis of confirmed batches and commercial needs;
Ensue stock availability do fulfil market needs (based on collected orders);
Assures a continuous monitoring on freights to meet requests coming from the market;
Reduces products transit time ensuring punctuality and freshness of the products.
Ensures Customer Service activities, monitoring key performance indicators in order to guarantee high level quality service;
Manages customers complaints and disputes and their credit position;
Analyzes the causes of complaints and interfaces with other functions in order to promptly provide a response to customers;
Interfaces with the Customer to resolve critical issues related to order proposals;
Identifies possible cross-customer synergies for Multi-Drop deliveries and communicates to the Platform suggestions for unification of orders;
Participates, for the part of its competence, to project activities related to the logistics network with the aim of maximizing the level of customer service and minimizing logistics costs.
CONTRACTS TERMS AND POLICIES MANAGEMENT
Coordinates customer relationships in order to manage any change on orders requests and related payment terms;
Guarantees the compliance with Group policies for what concern contract terms changes and related delivery times.
REPORTING AND MONITORING
Coordinates reporting activities in order to support demand, order and claim management;
Monitors batches allocation to warehouses;
Monitors shipping to assure the fulfillment of customer demand;
Supports performance measurement on warehouses and distribution activities.
Bachelor in Business Administration or related field;
At least 7 years’ of relevant experience in Supply Chain;
Influential and excellent interpersonal skills-strong team player;
Dynamic, proactive and able to work effectively in high pressure environment;
Result oriented personality who drives deliverables to execution with high autonomy;
Experience in managing distributions;
Travel Market experience is a plus;
Willing to travel worldwide about 25% of the time.
Knowledge of MS Office;
SAP knowledge is a plus.
Fluent in English;
Any other language is a plus.
