Data Administration Project Manager (M / F)

POSITIONS DETAILS :

Context of the role :

DA is reaching a turning point of its evolution with numerous transformational projects ahead, moving toward more digital models, while keeping the quality of delivery and client services high in the priority list.

Purpose of the position :

The Process Owner will be the custodian of Data Administration processes from end-to-end across functional, geographical or department lines.

He will be responsible for defining and implementing the best business delivery model for Data Administration operational processes in strong coordination with the Global Head of DA, Client Lines’ Products & Solutions units ensuring all processes are consistently implemented and required controls are suitable whilst considering local and global resources.

He will monitor process performance across the organisation, sharing best practices and ensuring harmonisation of the operational set up.

He will also have to lead the domain transformation program from a technical and operational point view, ensuring respect of timing, budget and quality of the deliverables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Contribute to developing process vision, strategy and objectives

Contribute to defining the domain strategy (including Market Data)

Ensure that current and target business delivery models fit client needs

Contribute to identifying the needs for investments

Work with the business to support alignment with CIB / BP2S / IFSO strategy

Approve strategic investment including IT platforms, client & key projects

Data Quality strategy

Define the strategy around referential quality management

Contribute to the global vision of global data quality and participate to the GRSec governance

BAU Oversight

Drive harmonisation of processes across the globe

Share and implement best practices

Eliminate manual processes and ensure process standardisation & Internationalisation (off-shoring / hub & spoke)

Implement effective governance oversight

Drive accountability for the control environment

Deliver global operating model which is cost effective and scalable

Support the rollout of Checkpoint meetings

Ensure client satisfaction

  • Ensure harmonisation of client services worldwide
  • Monitor service delivery & client satisfaction
  • Support & integrate market evolution
  • Support domain product roadmaps and client on-boarding
  • Develop and ensure implementation of process improvements and initiatives

  • Ensure implementation of the global business delivery model ensuring it answers the client’s needs
  • Coordinate change capability
  • Monitor execution and results vs objectives
  • Support managing internal and external providers
  • Support deployment of Digital initiatives
  • Ensure a best-in-class process execution

  • Define global KPIs / KRIs in order to optimize the quality, cost and operational risk and monitor across locations
  • Build a community of users worldwide to share the best practices and arbitrate any new evolution of services
  • Responsibility for performance, risk and quality management
  • Ensure processes are benchmarked
  • Ensure efficiency of the shared services operations centres : maximise quality, minimise costs and operational risk
  • Define standard business delivery model and document it through standard operating memorandum and procedures
  • Staff and Governance

  • Lead community and Governance
  • Ensure alignment between Product, Ops, IT
  • Ensure the compliance of any process with appropriate regulatory requirements
  • Follow Audit / IG / Regulators recommendations in partnership with ORPC / 2OPC and ensure appropriate controls in place
  • Communications

    Contribute to TOM validation with Senior Management

    Evangelise process management strategy throughout the organisation

    Participate to the packaging / marketing of the business delivery model under the lead of Client Lines

    Support sales and product forces by acting as business delivery expert (RFP participation, )

    Establish and animate the process users community

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    6+ years in Project / programme delivery role

    Significant experience in Banking / Financial Services, in particular around Data Administration activities (Pricing and Reference Data Management)

    Significant and demonstrable experience in process execution

    Background of driving innovation and delivering change

    Strong client focus

    Strong track record in applying project management methodologies to organise and co-ordinate complex or large business and process Transformation programmes

    Demonstrated ability to forward think and propose solutions

    Recognised project, time and relationship management skills including the ability to build relationships with stakeholders

    Excellent interpersonal, communication and report writing skills

    Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a matrix team that is geographically dispersed

    Excellent decision making skills

    Experience of dealing confidently with Clients, Colleagues, Regulators, Providers, location management

    Fluent in English
