In 2018 our airport welcomed 4,04 million passengers and we have the ambition to increase this number and to continue developing our activities!
To achieve this goal, we are looking to hire immediately a : Head of Terminal Operations (m / f)
What you will be doing :
Manage Terminal Operations and develop the team in-line with the Operations strategy
Supervise, organize and develop operations within the lux-Airport terminal
Propose and implement optimisation of the working as well as infrastructure with the terminal. This to ensure operational efficiency as well as the required customer satisfaction.
Follow-up audit findings linked to the Terminal operations
Liaise with diverse external stakeholders (airline, handler, ansp, ) both on an operational as well as a tactical level to ensure daily operations within the terminal are guaranteed
Follow-up of all projects and works taking place in the terminal and ensure operational continuity is guaranteed. Be the internal customer with respect to all changes, works, issues, within the terminal
Ensure all procedures are up to date, followed and trained. Where missing or sub-optimal, develop and improve in coops with Experts team.
This for normal operations as well as disruptions (eg evacuation, emergency, business continuity)
Use forecasting data to improve planning of operations
Ensure all emergency and evacuation plans are known and trained within the team
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS
What you will need :
Studies : full cycle of higher education studies or equivalent (Master’s Degree);
Experience : minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Airports / Aviation linked to passenger services
Knowledge : of all aspects of terminal operations, of the relevant international and national standards and recommendations, ICAO, EASA, etc.
and their interpretation as well as the industry best practices
Qualities : organizational skills, methodological knowledge (presentation, project management, etc.), flexibility, motivation and medication, high communications- and verbal skills, team-oriented skills, customer orientation;
Languages : English ; French or German;
