Review the management and operation of funds / structures to ensure that they are being managed in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations.

This role involves day to day management aspects of a specific number of client allocated Funds. Assists with the effective management of administrative activities conducted by the business.

Ensures that the Bank’s position as Trustee / Depositary is protected and that the client receives a service commensurate with any service level in place.

  • Completes and implements of internal monitoring program for all Funds, ensuring that work is completed in accordance with the departmental procedures and to the required standards.
  • Plans and prioritizes the workload of the team ensuring there is coverage for all investment funds.

  • Plans, manages and develops team members, by formatting training and development plans, using coaching skills where necessary.
  • Sets objectives or Key Areas of Responsibility. Appraise performance against objectives and formulate staff development plans.

  • Plans and schedules internal meetings with the team as necessary to discuss issues and enquire into operations. Maintains minutes of meetings and follows up on any action points as required.
  • Arranges, reviews and authorizes periodic communication to clients / auditors per the deadlines requested.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all high risk and complex administrative tasks, requiring a depth of experience, are handled correctly and efficiently.
  • Deals with difficult transactions, investigations and client issues verbally and in writing.
  • Drives operational efficiencies and streamline Unit Trust / OEIC administrative processes to increase cost savings and to increase quality and quantity of output.
  • Identifies and implements operational efficiencies with focus on client added value’ benefits, cost saving and improved control of risk.
  • Arranges and reviews new investment schemes for issues, particularly of an operational nature.
  • Arranges and reviews operational set up of new clients.
  • Reviews and authorizes Trust Officers daily work in respect of business as usual matters
  • Determines breaches and control register ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.
  • Reviews and authorizes periodic audit letters, pricing checks and investment reviews on Funds.
  • Prepares and updates logs for internal management meetings and to follow up any action points.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combinationof education and experience is required
  • 5-7 years of total work experience is preferredwith at least 0-1 years in management.
  • Prior Trustee experience preferred.
  • Investment funds, auditing or legal experiencepreferred.
