SS&C is the leading independent provider of cloud-based fund administration services and software for the alternative investment industry, including hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity funds and managed accounts.
This role involves the supervision of all operational activities carried out by the administrators within the Investor Services Department within the Luxembourg office, ensuring that there is continued delivery of high quality Client Servicing.
The role also involves coaching the administrators on the team and ensuring there is adequate staffing at all times.
Maintain delivery of a high quality service level to client and other departments within the company ensuring any queries are dealt with in a professional manner by your team and escalating where appropriate.
Ensure a professional relationship is maintained with clients and shareholders at all times by yourself and the administrators on your team
Ensure reporting is distributed from the Team within the required deadlines accurate review and supervision of Administrators to ensure the timely processing of all activities within your team.
Review GoCheck task lists to ensure that all tasks have been completed
Identify new tasks or amendments to existing tasks on GoCheck task list and forward to Manager for review and approval
Act as main point of contact to the client in relation to any SLA issues
Adhere to company standard procedures and controls in accordance with the relevant Investor Services Departmental Procedures Manual
Ensure that all trades are processed within the required deadline as per client SLA.
Motivate, challenge and ensure your direct reports are trained as required to fulfil their roles.
Evaluate team members in accordance with performance management programme.
Support the Management Team in promoting & implementing change within the group.
Knowledge of AML / KYC requirements and responsibilities.
Develop and implement procedures within the Investor Services Department.
Manage and co-ordinate document management within the Department.
Actively participate in project work ensuring completion within deadlines set.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in an operations environment, preferably in a finance environment with exposure to supervising staff.
Graduate degree level
Excellent organisational, inter-personal, written and verbal communication skills
Have a structured and determined approach to work, a willingness to take ownership of challenges and an ability to communicate with clients and colleagues at all levels.
Proactive, focused attitude towards work and an ability to consistently meet deadlines, whilst ensuring a high focus on accuracy.
Maintain and display a high level of professionalism when dealing with clients, investors and colleagues.
