Title : Accounting Officer CDD 12-months Dept : Financial Accounting Department Description : The Financial Accounting Department is responsible for the daily accounting activities, Accounts payable and Accounts receivable.
It is also in charge of the related Group and regulatory reporting. Furthermore, the department handles the filing of the VAT and corporate tax returns.
Once a year it is as well monitoring the whole Budget exercise. We are looking for an Accountant, for a replacement of maternity / parental leave for a 12-months period.
Your main tasks will be to : Prepare and process bookings for Accounts receivable, Accounts payable and General ledger accounting Prepare and process payments for suppliers, staff and clients.
Assist in the preparation of the month-end closing and the subsequent internal and regulatory reporting. Prepare and follow-up various reconciliations of accounts.
Ensure that all deadlines (internal and external) are met. Job requirements : BAC+3 in Accountancy or equivalent. Have minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Luxembourg Bank accounting, funds industry and / or Bank regulatory reporting considered as an advantage.
Focus on accuracy and respect of deadlines Have strong analytical skills Fluent in French and English Have a good command of the Microsoft office tools Knowledge of Olympic is an added value Be aware of confidentiality Good team spirit.
