Design, develop and implement workflows and screen designs for the new journal including but not limited to the presentation layer for the general audience of the journal, the online authoring environment as well as different management interfaces (e.
g. for the peer review process)
Follow an iterative approach that includes participatory design principles to engage users and stakeholders throughout the project
Contribute to the overall system architecture of the new journal platform
Work as part of an interdisciplinary team at the C2DH in an independent and proactive way
Demonstrated experience in the design of complex web applications
University degree in media / information design science or in a related disciplines
Desirable are 3+ years of experience with : UX / graphics design, HTML5 development
Advantageous are :
Working knowledge of Scrum / AGILE
Working knowledge of js frameworks such as vue.js
Great communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate methodological, organised, pragmatic and effective approaches to your work
Fluency in English is required, knowledge of French and / or German are considered an asset
