The EU Transportation team is responsible for ensuring that packages make it to customers on time everyday across the EU at the best speed and cost.
We do this by creating and building relationship with logistics providers and working with internal teams to ultimately build and manage a resilient, scalable network.
The Transportation Execution team is responsible to simplify and standardize our work, plan for events in the network (Prime Day, Christmas), and then to monitor the network to ensure it runs as planned and react when it does not.
Through doing this we help to delight customers with fast, reliable delivery service.
We’re seeking an hands-on, and customer-obsessed program manager to lead EU-level programs.
Within the Transportation team, you will be responsible for delivery programs end-to-end, including defining timelines, key milestones, tracking risks, etc.
You will work across several groups of stakeholders to ensure programs are delivered, and a successful candidate with take strong ownership to ensure the program is delivered.
You will be engaging, creative, open to ideas, and strong-willed to drive change.
Responsibilities Conduct data analysis to identify potential defects in our network and develop hypotheses to address them, test, and validate.
Define project plans to roll out projects which improve the reliability and speed of our network Review and incorporate lessons learned into the programs Engage stakeholders across the transportation teams to drive action Communicate effectively to keep stakeholders updated at different levels of seniority.
Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment, enjoying balancing multiple priorities BASIC QUALIFICATIONS A degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, Engineering, Mathematics or similar field Relevant experience in Transportation or Supply Chain, preferably in a similar role, within a high-
volume logistics, manufacturing or engineering environment Excellent customer service skills and commercial understanding Ability to drive complex analysis, and making data driven decisions Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences.
Fluent written and spoken English Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment SQL, advanced Excel skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s level degree or higher preferred.
Familiarity with operations and supply chain management concepts - forecasting, planning, optimization, logistics - gained through work experience or graduate level education.
