About the Role :
For our HQs in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Buyer for our Packaging Procurement function.
The incumbent will have to guarantee purchase of goods, materials and services in accordance with defined guidelines to ensure that the company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply running the purchase order with a set supplier base.
Main Responsibilities :
Strategic Sourcing :
Supports in defining purchasing strategy for the referent Category, based on business needs;
Supports Category Manager in the negotiation of good / services and in the definition of contracts.
Budget Management :
For specific projects, is involved in the Category / financial planning;
Supports alignment between proper budget management and business objectives.
Contract Management :
Collaborates with other Functions in the definition of policies, quality criteria, legal, environmental, ethical to purchase goods / services;
Supports timely information to the other Functions concerning contract framework agreements.
Supports negotiation with suppliers of the Category, in alignment with internal procedures and Ferrero Code of Business Conduct;
Ensures the competition between suppliers and subcontractors even by organizing tenders.
Purchasing Management :
Applies and implements purchasing policies, vendor management and developing policies, based on technical, organizational, economical and international financial knowledge, to reach the best possible results according to Group requirements in terms of timing and flexibility;
Supports purchase orders management, looks for Request for Proposals from vendors, proposing qualified and suitable alternatives;
Analyzes, aligns and evaluates offers received, in order to select the best available alternatives;
Monitors operative KPIs (service level, quality, etc.).
Supplier Managemet :
Maintains, consolidates and improves relationships with existing suppliers, to ensure continuity, manage criticalities and strengthen common objectives.
Who we are looking for :
1+ Year of relevant experience;
Master's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or other related fields;
Previous role in a purchasing department or other related experience to the category or other raw materials;
Analytical mindset (to be able to quickly understand / derive the vendor’s true cost structure);
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Strong reporting skills;
Strong negotiation skills;
Knowledge of Global Packaging market, price agreements will be considered a plus;
Knowledge of principal manufacturing and sustainability processes will be considered a plus;
Proficiency in MS Office skills Advanced in Excel;
Knowledge of SAP ERP (as a user) will be considered a plus;
Fluent in English, Italian and French will be considered a plus;
Enthusiasm and commitment to excellence with a result-oriented approach;
A fast learner who rapidly moves up the learning curve and wants to continue to take over new responsibilities;
