The Global Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Programs team is looking for a motivated Senior Manager with good technical skills, analytical and communication capabilities, and a hands-on enthusiasm to deliver fit-for-purpose WHS (standards, procedures, best practices) across the company.
Your role will be to coordinate critical WHS programs execution, identifying improvement opportunities, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

You will work collaboratively across geographies assisting in the development of the long-term strategy and operational direction for WHS programs.
You will be a motivated leader of others with a proven record of accomplishment delivering significant results across multiple businesses and geographies, interacting with senior level to deliver in this role.
Collaborate with EU stakeholders to align on program goals and resources.
Define and implement metrics to measure and communicate EU program achievements.
Communicate the overall program roadmap and provide periodic status updates to EU stakeholders.
Coordinate a portfolio of projects from inception to delivery. These may also be global in nature.
Provide EU programs decision support, insights and recommendations through data gathering and information analysing.
Develop, review, approve and improve internal policies and procedures in the respect of the countries WHS legal and Amazon Global Standards requirements.
Recommend improvements to programs scoping, building, testing and deployment across the company.
Educated to degree level.
Have or working towards CSP, CIH, NEBOSH, or CHMM certification.
10+ years of professional work experience as a Regional Health & Safety manager, or similar experience in EHS program management.
Proven record of accomplishment of sound decision making, taking ownership, and delivering results.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills that convey complex ideas in a simplified manner.
Ability to build strong relationships and influence others while working in a cross functional environment.
Ability to adapt well to growing environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
Experience in creating standards and procedures in an ISO format.
Flexible approach to work. Able to organize own priorities, workload and travel. Willingness to travel up to 30%.
