The opportunity :
This position resides within Global Workplace Technology Services and is responsible for professional and technical work related to the operation and support of service offering portfolio.
This role requires the incumbent to work in our Luxembourg office and globally responsible for Hardware Management. Regional (EMEA) responsibility for Asset and Mobile Device Management along with required policies, standards and legal compliance.
This is an advanced supporting role that Interacts with EMEA leaders, cross functional teams and Goodyear’s Global Service Desk and requires leading or participating in global and regional projects touching the Workplace Service Management area.
Amongst other responsibilities, you will :
Be responsible for the global PC Hardware Management
Be End to end responsible for the EMEA Asset Management and Mobile Device Management
Be Responsible for delivering all services at agreed service levels and compliance with legal and internal processes, policies and regulations
Manage the maintenance, support and optimization of existing IT processes and procedures in in partnership with internal business customers and external service providers
Design and implementation of new procedures in alignment with IT policies and regulations and IT best practices (ITIL)
Ensure and extend the implementation of Global Goodyear ITIL Incident Management Processes across the EMEA Region
Provide guidance and mentoring to other associates on service operations and processes
Communicate issues, resolutions, and best practices to the support organization and liaise across IT and customer organizations
To : Education :
Bachelor or Master Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or related discipline is required
Languages : English is a must
Minimum 6 years’ experience in Information Technology, including 2-3 years of successfully developing and implementing applications and / or infrastructure systems using new and emerging technologies.
Experience with PC imaging technology (image development and SCCM OSD experience preferred)
Experience with creating & troubleshooting Active Directory group policies
Skills & Qualifications :
Strong understanding and experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10
ITIL V3 certification (preferred or willingness to attain certification) or strong analytical and problem solving skills combined with conceptual thinking
Strong focus on details and broad awareness of change impact
Excellent communication skills combined with cultural awareness
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to understand the business needs deliver prompt, efficient, quality business deliverables
Willingness to travel
