As a Senior Client Service Representative Alternatives, you will be part of a Client Service Team (Custody, Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting) responsible for a group of client relationships and you will have direct contact with those clients.

You will provide timely and accurate resolution to client inquiries mainly but not limited to Alternatives Custody matters in order to ensure that exceptional level client service is met.

You will review daily service and transaction work and actively participate in client service conference calls and meetings.

You will also work collaboratively, yet to also take initiatives and be self-directed. You will support fund structures in the Alternatives segment with great level of complexity, you will work on large accounts, as well as be responsible for guiding Client Service Representatives and provide training for the newly hired, less experienced staff.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Independently review documentation related to Real Estate Investments (legal and transactional)
  • Monitor Cash Flow movements and other tasks resulting from Depositary duties
  • Analyze changes in Fund Structures by collecting and understanding corporate documentation.
  • Monitor receipt of all client’s transactions related documentation and analyzing exposure of missing documentation to BBH / client
  • Work with internal departments to prioritize client requests, deliverables and issue resolution
  • Proactively respond to Alternatives Custody related internal and external client’s inquiries by providing quality, accurate and timely service
  • Utilize relevant internal technology solutions to effectively manage inquiries and client demands
  • Ensure department procedures and controls are followed and adhered to
  • Support Team’s supervisors in the management of some processes including escalations
  • Work on potential process flow improvements and efficiencies
  • Act as a role model and trainer for less experienced Team members
  • Work with BBH operational teams to ensure appropriate client service is delivered to clients
  • Qualifications :

  • BA / BS degree, and / or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial environment
  • Fluency in English and French or German (written and spoken) required
  • Prior work experience in a client servicing or legal documents analysis role
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and resolve client needs
  • Ability to build and maintain internal and external client relationships
  • Ability to learn and utilize new technologies to research, analyze, and resolve client needs
  • Experience in reporting and managing multiple data sources
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of Excel
