The Amazon Business EU Team is seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Product Management Team, focused on Selection and Pricing.

We are looking for an experienced people manager to be able to develop and retain a multi-disciplinary team of 3 Product Managers in 2021, expanding more in the coming years.

In this role, you will be in charge of :

  • Defining the long term Amazon Business EU Selection strategy by identifying high-impact initiatives to help us focus on priority business selection and manage that selection to a high business customer experience.
  • This role works very closely with the Amazon Business Dedicated Central Business Development teams (CBD) in the EU and influences hundreds of retail and 3P resources to deliver multiple VP goals.

  • Laying out the long-term pricing strategy for Amazon Business EU and playing a key role in defining the roadmap for EU pricing, in conjunction with the EU and WW Amazon Business Pricing Teams.
  • You will also work with the Amazon Business Dedicated CBD teams, to drive adoption of our key existing pricing features and provide business insight on our business performance where Pricing plays a role.

  • Engaging with Customers, Account Management and Marketing teams in the EU to conduct in-depth research to understand the selection and pricing needs of business customers, while identifying needed disruptive feature capabilities.
  • This position is a highly visible role that requires interaction and partnership with senior leaders across Amazon. The successful candidate is able to form strong working partnerships with business and technology leaders at all levels.

    He / she formulates strategies for solving problems, partners with business leaders to initiate and drive the business vision.

    He / she partners with technology leaders to influence product roadmap and meet key business objectives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

    He / she has outstanding communication skills and is able to simplify and articulate the most complex concepts to senior business leaders.

    Specifically, the Senior Manager will lead the product area by owning the following responsibilities :

  • Hiring, developing, and leading a team of high performing Product Managers
  • Building and articulating a clear vision for the team. Setting the strategic direction and goals for the team, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision.
  • Developing strong working relationship with cross-functional teams including the AB WW Selection and Pricing teams, Sales teams in EU5, AB Central Business Development Teams for Hardlines, Consumables and Pan EU Categories and the Hardlines and Consumables Private Brands Teams.
  • Diving Deep into customer and business data to derive actionable insights and implement mechanisms to drive business benefit from these insights.
  • Building and aligning roadmap priorities and goals with category teams.
  • Providing monthly and quarterly updates to Amazon Business EU Leadership on key wins and misses
  • Improving price perception and price competitiveness of Amazon Business in EU - (AB is not playbook, we are innovating in this space and building new playbooks for the Business Customer
  • Developing the project roadmap for Pricing innovation in EU for next 3 years and ensure delivery of goals each business year.
