Job Description
As part of our Group Legal team we are flexible with your location which could be either Luxembourg, Belfast or London .
As a Legal Counsel you'll be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents that IQ EQ Group companies are party to and assist us with general legal matters at Group level.
This will also include managing contracts and other legal documents ensuring risk mitigation for the Group.
You will actively research and investigate specific topics and events, prepare memos, reports and advisory information. Keeping up to date with changes to regulations that potentially affect our the business is an essential part of this role.
You'll support and assist the Group and our subsidiaries with inter-company agreements and oversee arrangements for their drafting and execution, including coordinating internal and external legal counsel.
As you manage Group level contracts you'll liaise with our internal and external legal counsel, managing the step plans, document lists, preparing and reviewing draft resolutions and ancillary documents.
It's essential that you work through the action points with key stakeholders to deliver projects and successfully implement changes.
You’ll be highly organized, pay close attention to detail and know your subject matter as you build and develop your network with key stakeholders both externally and across the Group.
You’ll need to be thorough in all you do and flexible in your approach to help us deliver ad hoc projects by drawing on your expertise.
You'll also work closely with legal counsels across other units and service lines so we have a consensus and consistent approach across the Group.

Qualifications
Qualified lawyer with at least 3 PQE
Excellent knowledge of commercial and corporate law, knowledge of financial service sector appreciated
Previous experience in a similar in-house role in a financial services provider or within a law firm
Proficiency in both English and French
