Regulatory Services Assistant Officer
Client focused - full time - Luxembourg
Job Purpose :
The Regulatory Services Assistant Officer is responsible for the timely and correct handling of matters concerning Regulatory Services provided like FATCA & CRS and other Automatic Exchange of Information regimes such as UBO Register, GDPR or MDR, including correspondence and other communication with TMF teams, tax authorities and clients.
Key responsibilities :
Supporting client servicing teams in their everyday work;
Liaise with the tax authorities, TMF teams and clients;
Take ownership of own development by following required and relevant trainings;
Supporting in follow-up invoices to clients and collecting debts;
Good understanding of accounting, tax and legal documents;
Report problems or complex technical matters to Senior Regulatory Services Officer (and / or up);
Execute all the necessary to have TMF Group and clients perform according to Compliance and AML rules;
Work closely and effectively with counter team.
Your profile :
Bachelor’s degree (or University degree) in law, finance or tax. Additional trainings in Regulatory Services and AEoI regimes are considered as an asset;
0-1 year experience in a legal environment in Luxembourg, preferably in an international environment; understanding of Luxembourg tax structures will be an advantage;
General understanding of tax and legal environment;
Basic knowledge of the Luxembourg legislation and the recent changes occurred in the legislation;
Excellent English written and verbal communication is required. Knowledge of German or French would be an advantage;
Good IT skills and excellent command of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) are necessary.
