Amazon is seeking a Program Manager, Project Management Office (PMO) to join our growing Reliability and Maintenance Engineering (RME) team.

The successful candidate will have a strong level of ownership and be a highly motivated individual who has Project / Program Management experience.

The Program Manager will have a high work capacity while being detailed oriented and agile to manage business changes and keep driving the initiatives.

The RME team maintains and optimizes technologies ranging from large, modern, purpose built warehouses utilizing robotics and high volume conveyance all the way through the value chain to small, high speed warehouses placed as close to our customers as possible.

We maintain and optimize technologies in the Global Amazon Fulfillment, Sort Center, and Delivery Network.

The Program Manager needs to be a strong collaborator as they will be working with different functional teams and people across multiple locations.

They will be responsible for managing the deployment of multiple projects that will have a direct impact on equipment uptime, efficiency, cost management, quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and ultimately profitability within Amazon.

In addition, they may need to work closely with technology developers, the Central Reliability Team and sites to deliver robust equipment to the network.

The position will support the entire network managed by RME, which may include non-EU locations (such as MENA, Australia and Japan)

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Work with internal Amazon teams and external partners to deliver CAPEX projects and innovations.
  • Be a governance facilitator that maintains structure, procedures and standard ways of working that follow a common language for project and program delivery
  • Develop and implement unified platform tools, information systems and leverage analytics and data visualization to support reporting and decision making processes
  • Communicate project status, drive and elevate decision making and help requests
  • Lead critical path schedule items and escalate to leadership on potential risks and delays.
  • Run post-implementation project reviews and lessons learned sessions
  • If necessary, ensure emerging technology is implemented in EAM (CMMS) from day1
