The Dangerous Goods (DG) team is looking for a motivated and data driven Program Manager with strong technical skills, analytical and communication capabilities, and a hands-
on passion to dive-deep into processes that enable worldwide classification of Dangerous Goods products. Your role will be to lead and drive critical programs to remove waste from our DG classification processes by diagnosing the processes, identifying improvement opportunities (short-
term wins, as well as long-term wins through process design / redesign), prescribing improvement strategies and guiding the improvement effort to successful implementation.
You will maintain close relationships with our stakeholders in order to understand our highest priority execution pain-points and opportunities that have a significant, measurable impact across worldwide manual classification processes, while enabling optimization of Compliance Operations’ processes (manual classification, rule writing, ticketing and supplier follow-
up) to drive classification accuracy and efficiency. The Program Manager will work closely with away team resources supporting worldwide DG classification activities.
The successful candidate will create, develop and drive solutions that lead to a richer end-to-end customer and operations experience, enabling selection expansion, while ensuring safety and compliance.
This is a high visibility and high impact role which requires coordination with global C-Ops team spread across the world. Responsibilities include :
Lead medium to large initiatives, coordinating the work of internal and partner teams. Responsibilities include program scoping, design, data collection, fieldwork and site visits, data analysis, proposal of new standards, communication of results to senior management worldwide, business action follow-
up, and subject matter expert (SME) support for implementations of recommended improvements.
Engage fully and deep dive into processes, highlight variation and identify corresponding root causes to define best in class for best practice adoption and standardization.
Passion for innovation to ensure we deliver high quality programs processes that heavily rely on optimized tools, configurations and algorithms against agreed commitments.
Plan and execute end-to-end operational analysis programs that result in standardization of classification processes and implementation of best practices.
Make data driven decisions and recommend strategies that achieve measurable results for continuous improvement and change management.
Develop and drive scalable end-to-end process improvement across worldwide manual classification related processes, leveraging lean management and Six Sigma or similar methodologies or approaches.
Creating, developing and driving solutions that lead to a richer end-to-end customer and operations experience, whilst enabling selection expansion.
Drive speed, quality, and simplification throughout by eliminating rework loops, reducing and automating manual work / hand-
offs, identifying and implementing best practices across the business, and minimizing process variance through standardization and automation.
Develop and launch a sustainable process to formulate the key and priority process changes to eliminate gaps, evaluate risks, permanently and proactively solve root causes.
Develop accurate and relevant metric-driven analysis to foster continuous improvement and step-function innovation that will enhance our internal and external customer experience.
Improve the Standard Operation Procedures for the Compliance Operations teams.
Establish process management and governance.

Bachelor’s degree in BA or BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Operations / Supply Chain, Organizational Behavior, or other technical field from an accredited university
At least 2 years of project / program management experience, delivering on small and medium-scale, cross-functional programs in support of business goals
Working knowledge of root cause analysis and process design
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions;
including working knowledge of Excel and SQL
Ability to operate independently and simultaneously manage multiple, competing priorities
Excellent business judgment and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
Willingness to travel up to 15%
Experience in business domains such as supply chain management, logistics, and dangerous goods
MBA or Master’s Degree in a related field
Experience / certification in Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
Ability to thrive in a high-energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel
