In this role you will be a strong part of global manufacturing transformation projects through implementation of tasks towards the project success.
You will evaluate manufacturing capacities and costs to support developing analytical models. You will also assist in applying the latest manufacturing technology to advance Husky’s manufacturing performance and efficiencies.
You will report to the Project Manager Operations, located in our European headquarters in Dudelange, Luxembourg.
Lead HRC Manufacturing Technology Team Luxembourg.
Support Global HRC Manufacturing Technology projects.
Manage relationship with key tooling machine suppliers.
Support the management of several manufacturing engineering projects as assigned
Provide help and hands-on process development and support for transformation projects
Evaluate and measure cost effectiveness of manufacturing processes
Provide estimations of manufacturing times and costs as part of analyses to justify equipment investment
Support in the implementation of manufacturing process improvements
Engineering, manufacturing or mechanical degree (certified engineer or BTS) preferred, or equivalent education / experience.
General manufacturing and machining experience
Background in tooling and manufacturing processes, working knowledge of materials would be an advantage
Knowledgeable on machine automation concepts
Working knowledge of Lean’ manufacturing principles
Experiences with machine tools and factory layouts
Sound knowledge of the usage of all MS Office applications
Occasional travel might be required
Fluent in English
Good German language skills considered as a strong asset
