With a large team of industry specialists, Carne serves in excess of four hundred traditional and alternative asset management clients from key fund jurisdictions and financial hubs including Dublin, Luxembourg, Zurich, London, New York and the Cayman and Channel Islands.
We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join the team in Luxembourg.
Duties and Responsibilities : Review, analyse and evaluate business systems and user needs Document requirements, define scope & objectives and formulate systems to meet overall business strategies Act as a liaison between the IT department and both internal & external clients Support project teams during the analysis, planning, implementation and testing stages of software development and rollout Support the IT function in providing quality and fast resolution to service requests submitted via email and / or ticketing system Facilitate meetings and educational workshops for team members and clients Perform application testing to ensure program changes are functional and meet specified requirements Test new and legacy applications, with or without the use of formal test cases / scripts Execute test cases and clearly and accurately record and communicate outcome (expected and actual) Gain and maintain familiarity with company software and operating environment Establish and follow assigned priorities based on business and operational needs Carry out other duties as management may request of you Person specification : Degree in technology and 5+ years’ relevant experience in a Business Analysis role in the Funds Industry or related field Excellent verbal, written, relationship building and communication skills Strong diagnostic, problem solving and analytical skills Detail-
oriented and able to manage multiple priorities Ability to work well in a team environment Proactive self-starter, with minimum guidance or management required Strong experience in user testing and project management Advanced SQL skill level on the Microsoft SQL Server Management System, or similar RDBMS Proficient with best practices in software design and user experience techniques Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications familiarity with Visio and Balsamiq also of benefit If you wish to apply for this position, please send your CV in the strictest confidence via jobs.lu.
