The successful candidate will join the Computer Vision, Imaging and Machine Intelligence Research Group (CVI2) headed by Prof.
Djamila Aouada. He / she will support the research team by transforming the research results to real time algorithms / applications with respect to predefined topics in the field of computer vision.
The position holder will be required to perform the following tasks :
Collaborate with team members to build and develop computer vision algorithms / applications.
Perform code reviews to ensure performance.
Provide support in setting up and running experiments in the SnT Computer Vision laboratory.

3+ years of professional computer vision software development experience.
Proven experience in supporting and working within a Computer Vision research lab, including support with data collection and implementation of state of art Computer Vision algorithms.
Strong background in software engineering
Background in image processing, computer vision, and / computer graphics.
Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
Sound knowledge about deep learning libraries : TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe.
Strong mathematical background.
Commitment, team working and a critical mind.
Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory.
Knowledge in 3D human skeleton estimation and its applications is a plus.
