A PhD degree in Telecommunication Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science / engineering with a focus on wireless communications
Sound publication track record in one or more of the following areas : UAVs, 5G wireless technologies, vehicular networks, High-Altitude Platforms (HAPs) and intelligent resource management
Knowledge of one or multiple areas listed below is highly desirable :
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV)
Ultra-Reliable and Low-Latency Communications (URLLC)
Resource slicing and Network slicing
UAV-UAV, UAV-ground and satellite-UAV communications
Joint communications and control for vehicular networks
Experience with optimization and / or machine learning algorithms / tools
Strong programming skills in MATLAB. Python or C++ is a plus
Experience of working with industrial projects or public funded research projects related to resource management is highly desirable
Highly committed, excellent team-worker, and strong critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
