Mission : Scientific Management of research projects in the area of neurodegeneration- and stem cell science : The Developmental and Cellular Biology Group (led by Prof.
Jens Schwamborn) at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine is looking for a scientific project manager.
Research projects in the group are at the interface of systems biology and bio-medical research. In particular, we aim on gaining new insights in the complex processes that regulate neuro-
degenerative as well as -protective processes.
within the role of the scientific project manager shall be :
This will involve the conceptual and content wise organization and follow-up of meetings, definition of deliverables and monitoring of research projects.
Furthermore, communication with research partners inside and outside of the institute will be an essential part of the position.
Finally, scientific contribution and support in the preparation of grant applications is expected. Define technical characteristics for scientific activity, and conduct project management process for the research projects from conception to implementation including scientific analysis and new methodologies.
