The opportunity

Currently we’re looking for Operations Support Specialist to join our team in Luxembourg. As Operations Support Specialist your key area of responsibility will be managing the back-office process of our telematic solutions with a given fleet.

You will work closely with the Customer-Insights and Customer Service teams, as well as other internal ones. To be successful in this role you are rigorous, at ease in keeping good records and have the ability to follow Goodyear’s internal procedures.

In addition, the successful candidate will proactively suggest and implement improvements in the existing processes. You will also be asked to grasp the fundamentals of how our telematics infrastructure operates.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an inventory of hardware in order to strike the best balance between its size and time to delivery.
  • Keep an up-to-date view of hardware that has been used, is used, and will be used.
  • Organize outbound and inbound shipment of parts.
  • Prepare reports on expenditures, shipments, returns, inventory
  • Manage payments to vendors.
  • Manage shipments, from packaging to all necessary documentation needed for logistics, from within the EU and up to the whole EMEA.
  • Coordinate with internal departments the return / exchange process for all type of hardware.
  • Continually preserve the confidentiality and security of customer data and information.
  • To join our team you will need :

    Education :

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or supply chain discipline
  • Master in technical or MBA degree would be considered as an asset
  • Languages :

  • You are fluent in English. Knowledge of French or German is an asset.
  • Experience :

  • Experience in working within a technical or engineering organization
  • Knowledge of the high-technology industry an asset.
  • Skills & Qualifications :

  • Mastery of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Good problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities
  • Accurate and structured
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think process
  • Able to work in different database environments (SAP, EDW, Cloud )
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
