Distribution Commission Controller / Analyst (m / f)
Maternity Leave Cover 15 months contract
The candidate will be the contact person for Amundi Finance staff on validation of distribution commission, preparation of aggregated data for distribution commission to support bookings in the company accounts and provision of reporting on distribution commission for Amundi Management and departments of Amundi.
Reporting Line :
Head of Financial Services
Controls over quarterly, monthly trailer fees and other distribution commission calculations and their validation for funds ranges managed by Amundi Luxembourg & Amundi France.
Controls over dealer advances and CDSCs calculated by the Transfer Agent and their validation at a management company level.
Preparation of summaries for the Accounting department to support bookings in the company accounts. Provision of distribution commission accruals and dealer advances accruals.
Determining AVG distribution commission rates at a company, regional and product segments and reporting on these to Amundi Management.
Provision of summaries to support the intra-group transfer pricing calculations.
Maintenance and provision of quarterly dashboard on distribution commission payments status to the Finance and Trailer Fees departments.
Follow up on the distribution commission, dealer advances and CDSCs queries and requests from the Head Office Finance department and company auditors.
Check the consistency of trailer fees issued by TA trailer fees calculation database against the distribution commission numbers reported and shared with stakeholders.
Ad-hoc support to the Trailer Fees department on release of trailer fees calculations and payments.
Degree in Finance or Accounting or min 5 year previous experience in Finance department of a large financial institution in a similar role.
Previous experience in financial control of asset management company commissions (e.g. management fees, trailer fees) will be an advantage.
Fluent in English and French (any other languages e.g. Italian, German will be an additional asset).
Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, especially of Excel advanced formulas and Excel pivot tables.
Ability to work independently with good organizational skills and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability. Attention to detail and an analytical mind-set.
